How to Clean Your Windows with a DIY cleaner

I hate cleaners that include chemicals. In fact, my hate for them started when I was pregnant with my first child 11 years ago and I learned how toxic they are when being used. So I just make my own. I have 5 kids, and the younger two LOVE to touch the windows with their sticky, yucky palms. Washing windows has become an every-other-day chore! As if I don’t have enough to do around the house. And here I thought being a mom was going to be the most simplest job in the world (*insert sarcastic eye roll*).  Oh, but it’s all good though. I won’t have to inhale that divine chemical smell again and receive a nice gift we call a headache.

This DIY cleaner is incredibly simple to put together, since I have these products around my home anyways.

Here’s what it includes:

*1 spray bottle – either pick one up at the Dollar Tree for $1.00, Walmart for $0.97, or just reuse an empty spray bottle in your home.

*2 cups of water – free from the tap!

*1/4 cup of white vinegar – purchase a small bottle of it for around $1.00 at Walmart or a gallon of it for $2.28

*1/4 tsp dish soap – I used blue Dawn dish soap, but I’ve heard anything works, even the cheap, cheap stuff!
